Our Story

When I first began sharing my charcuterie boards with the Santa Ynez Valley community under the name Board Appétit, every bit of customer feedback felt like a gift. Each comment, suggestion, and smile helped me refine the balance of flavors, textures, and presentation that make a board truly unforgettable

Early on, I prepared a large board for a new customer hosting a special event. Eager to know how it went, I followed up the next day and asked, “Did your guests enjoy everything?” She immediately replied, laughing, “They loved it — there was only one olive left!”

That joyful comment stuck with me. It captured everything I hoped to offer through my boards: a shared experience so good that almost nothing is left behind. Naming my business after that moment felt only natural.

As my vision evolved, rebranding became a way to embrace that spirit more fully. One Olive Left celebrates art, connection, community, and the simple pleasures of great food, beautifully shared.
